A Qualified Candidate Near Resistance
Review a qualified screener candidate near resistance with source timing, level context and a separate execution and risk assessment.
A qualified candidate near resistance creates a useful analytical question: does the candidate’s improving context have enough structural room for the scenario you are reviewing? Qualification and location are different layers. A discovery state should lead you to inspect that relationship, not skip it.
Crypto Setup Planner identifies candidates under its selected requirements. A chart review can still reject or postpone a qualified row when another relevant reference changes the interpretation.
Establish which level you mean
Record the source of the resistance reference. Is it a recent chart high, a channel rail, a larger-timeframe structure or another documented level? Several nearby lines derived from the same price sequence do not necessarily provide independent evidence.
Use a consistent timeframe and distinguish confirmed references from provisional ones. A level visible on a later historical chart may not have been available at the original observation time.
Measure location without inventing certainty
Distance can be expressed in price, percentage or ATR units. Each answers a different scale question. A small distance relative to recent variability may deserve attention, but it does not establish a known rejection probability.

| Review layer | Evidence to save | Practical purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Candidate | Score, Base Action and Quality | Preserves the discovery state |
| Level | Method and confirmation time | Explains why the reference matters |
| Distance | Price or normalized distance | Describes the current location |
| Scenario | What continuation or rejection would mean | Keeps the hypothesis explicit |
| Execution | Separate cost and risk checks | Prevents discovery from becoming an order |
Investigate a qualified example
Imagine a recovery candidate is QUALIFIED on the selected source interval. On the chart, a larger structural reference sits nearby. The candidate state remains an accurate discovery observation, while the chart review adds a constraint.
Possible research outcomes include waiting for more information, examining a different scenario or rejecting the candidate for your current process. These are review categories, not entry prescriptions. The appropriate outcome depends on rules established before observing the chart.
Keep the tool roles distinct
The Planner helps decide which chart deserves attention. Dynamic Channels Elite can help organize channel structure and nearby rail context. Trading Suite can provide broader configured chart-analysis layers. None automatically resolves every level, execution condition or account constraint.
When combining tools, record which question each one answered. Do not count the same structural idea several times as independent confluence.
Define what would change the assessment
Write a specific follow-up question: does a relevant source observation confirm beyond the reference, does the structure update, or does participation remain acceptable? Avoid “wait until it looks better,” which cannot be reviewed consistently.
Save the original timestamp and the next review point. If a new candidate appears later, treat it as a new observation rather than rewriting the earlier decision with hindsight.
Frequently asked questions
Should resistance automatically invalidate qualification?
No universal rule applies. The script’s qualification reflects its configured method; your broader chart review may identify additional constraints.
Does a nearby level guarantee rejection?
No. It is a structural reference. Price can reject, cross, pause or change context around it.
