It blends four components — trend clarity, volatility adequacy, efficiency (noise), and participation — into a single 0-100 Tradability score with a Trade / Wait / Stand-down verdict, and it names the weakest link so you know exactly what is holding conditions back.It is the discipline layer that says "don't trade" when the market is too choppy, too thin, too quiet, or too erratic — the moments that quietly drain accounts. A subtle regime tint and sparse transition markers keep the prevailing state visible at a glance.

Purpose & Design Philosophy

Most losing stretches are not from bad entries — they are from good entries taken in untradeable conditions: chop that stops you out repeatedly, dead ranges with no follow-through, thin sessions where moves do not hold. Traders feel this but rarely measure it, so they keep forcing trades when the market is simply not paying.

Why It Is Different

Most condition tools measure one thing — a choppiness index, an ADX reading, a volatility band — and leave you to assemble the picture.This script does NOT rely on a single metric and does NOT pretend one number captures tradability.Instead, it combines four independent components into one weighted score, then exposes each sub-score and explicitly names the weakest link. You see not just that conditions are marginal, but why — "Efficiency 22 — choppy / noisy" or "Participation 18 — thin" — which is the difference between a vague feeling and an actionable read.

1. Trend Clarity Directional strength (ADX). Strong, persistent direction scores high; aimless drift scores low.2. Volatility Adequacy ATR% judged against its own recent normal. Enough range to cover costs scores high; dead-quiet or wildly erratic both score lower.3. Efficiency / Noise The Kaufman Efficiency Ratio (net move ÷ total path). Clean directional travel scores high; back-and-forth chop scores low.4. Participation Relative volume, with a range-participation fallback on symbols without volume. Healthy engagement scores high; thin tape scores low.5. Composite & Weakest Link A weighted blend yields the 0-100 Tradability score; each sub-score is shown separately, and the lowest is flagged as the weakest link.

How to Read the Chart

Background tint = the prevailing regime: faint teal when the gate is open (Tradable), faint red when it is shut (Stand-down).
TRADABLE / STAND DOWN markers = the moments the regime flipped (kept sparse and spaced).
GATE badge = the live state and score at the last bar.
Panel = the full read: Tradability, the four factor cells, verdict, weakest link, and next action.
