System, Purpose & Difference What the workflow exists to solve, what it produces and why its design differs from generic signal tools.

Core Idea

How can a trader keep entry, invalidation, R progress, target structure, and the next review point visible without renegotiating the plan candle by candle?

What This Workflow Does

Trade Management Planner Elite is an invite-only analytical overlay that organizes an active trade plan into a stable chart framework. It maps an entry reference, an invalidation boundary, current R progress, a configurable target ladder, management states, and a compact dashboard. The script can use manual price references or build an Auto Structure plan from confirmed swing and volatility context. Auto plans remain anchored until the directional context changes or a new confirmed opposite pivot establishes a new structural reference. It does not predict price direction, place orders, automate execution, or guarantee that any target will be reached.

Purpose & Design Philosophy

Many chart tools concentrate on entry generation while leaving the management phase fragmented. This script was built for traders who already have a plan and want its risk geometry and evolving context presented consistently. The design favors stable references, neutral review states, and clear visual hierarchy. Its purpose is to support disciplined interpretation rather than produce urgency or certainty.

Why It Is Different

Most risk/reward tools display static entry, stop, and target levels. This script does not present a single directional signal or treat every candle as a new setup.Instead, it combines an anchored plan, multi-stage target progression, R-based context, review states, descriptive historical samples, and a live dashboard in one management-focused workflow.
Methodology & Chart Language How context is processed and how zones, labels, colors, panels and visual states should be read.

Methodology

  1. Context Detection
Manual mode reads user-defined entry and invalidation references. Auto Structure mode evaluates EMA alignment, recent range position, confirmed pivots, and the selected side override.
  1. Reference Mapping
The script anchors entry and invalidation when an Auto Structure plan is created. Swing, ATR, or percentage logic determines the risk boundary, subject to minimum and maximum ATR-distance controls.
  1. Reaction Evaluation
Price is evaluated relative to the anchored risk distance, target ladder, review buffers, and volatility context. This produces descriptive states such as Watch, Ready, Target Review, Partial Review, Runner Review, and Invalidation Review.
  1. Visual Output
The active entry, invalidation zone, next management zone, target ladder, historical state labels, and dashboard are rendered with adjustable density and typography.

How to Read the Chart

  • Entry line → anchored reference used for R calculations
  • Invalidation zone → boundary where the active plan requires reassessment
  • Next Zone → area surrounding the next unresolved target
  • Target labels → target tier, R multiple, allocation reference, and price
  • Historical labels → earlier changes in management context
  • Colors → teal or pink for directional context, amber for review states, red for invalidation pressure, and indigo for reference emphasis
  • Panel → current plan mode, entry, invalidation, R progress, target status, descriptive sample rate, management score, and next review context
Signals, States & Alerts What each visible state represents and when an alert marks a condition that deserves attention.

Signals & States

  • WATCH → a valid plan exists but current management quality remains moderate • READY → the plan meets the configured readiness threshold • TARGET REVIEW → price is interacting with the next target area • PARTIAL REVIEW → at least one target tier has resolved and additional tiers remain • RUNNER REVIEW → the plan has advanced to its final stages • INVALIDATION REVIEW → price is approaching the risk boundary • INVALIDATED → price has closed through the invalidation boundary.
Best Conditions & When to Step Back Where the workflow is most useful, which conditions weaken interpretation and how context changes the reading.

When to Use

  • After defining a directional trade thesis
  • When managing an anchored swing or tactical plan
  • When reviewing multi-stage targets
  • When comparing risk geometry across timeframes
  • When documenting plan progression for a trading journal

When Not to Use

  • When no valid entry and invalidation thesis exists
  • During extremely illiquid or discontinuous price action
  • When spreads, gaps, or volatility make chart references unreliable
  • As a substitute for position sizing, execution controls, or independent risk management
Controls, Interface & Practical Workflow The main inputs, visual controls and a repeatable sequence for using the workflow without losing chart clarity.

Key Inputs

  • Plan Source → selects Manual Price or Auto Structure
  • Plan Side → selects automatic, long-management, or short-management context
  • Auto Invalidation Mode → uses swing plus ATR, ATR multiple, or percentage distance
  • Target Model → controls R-based, hybrid, or conservative target construction
  • Ready Threshold → changes the score required for the Ready state
  • Review Buffer → changes sensitivity around targets and invalidation
  • Visual Preset → controls chart density
  • Label and Panel settings → control visibility, location, theme, and font size
Boundaries, Limitations & Risk What the workflow does not do, where its outputs can weaken and the risk boundaries every buyer should understand.

What This Workflow Is Not

  • Not a prediction engine
  • Not financial advice
  • Not an automated trading system
  • Not an order-management service
  • Not a guarantee of target achievement
  • Not a substitute for independent analysis

Limitations & Transparency

Outputs vary by instrument, timeframe, available chart history, volatility, liquidity, and settings. Confirmed pivots require subsequent bars before they become available. Auto Structure references can change when a new opposite pivot is confirmed or directional context changes.Historical sample results depend on the loaded dataset and selected parameters. They should not be compared with executed trades or treated as evidence of future performance.
